Glutathione is a tri-peptide comprised from one amino acid of glutamic acid, cysteine and glycine. Glutathione assists in whitening the skin by modifying the conversion of eumelanin (brown/yellow/dark pigmentation) to phaeomelanin (reddish white pigmentation). It protects individual cells and tissue in the brain, eye lens’, heart, kidneys, liver and skin against harmful oxidants found in our environment.  L-Glutathione is also known to promote longevity.*
